So when you seek it search it deep
To see the, me, raised in violence around your saddening silence
It is so deep inside me
It is so deep inside me so and when you seek it
Search it deep to see the millions in fear when the parents disappear
It is so deep inside me
It is so deep inside me so when you seek it search it deep
To see the fears and the tears little children disappear
It is so deep inside me
It is so deep inside me when you seek it search it deep
To see the beast in a feast the destruction of that peace
It is so deep inside me
It is so deep inside me when you seek it search it deep
To see that beast in a feast on the face of a child
I am a war child and

I always thought my life is so perfect - a war child
It wasn't until I finally got told I am a war child
I never knew peace without their khakis - a war child
All I knew was warring camouflages - a war child

And if I would draw when I was small and yet a war child
Soldiers I drew they hitting targets a war child
But that wasn't me and every child that’s a war child
If they can see how we survive I am war child

You never know peace when you start it as a war child
‘Cause you never can see how peace can be - a war child
You can check up my subjects full of war just like a war child
But I am no retard that’s all I know - a war child

Wonder if you see that child at war just like your own child
See your own kids an picture me as a war child
When will they leave they killed my dad and left a war child
Now talking peace my hero is gone - a war child

Some leave some get killed some pick up arms - a war child
I hope for my kids to live a Life not a war child
Is there a place up in your space for a war child
See what I have seen let’s stop that scene for the war child

Now far away from home and all alone just like a war child
In search of that home I never found as war child
One day in peace we will finally be tell a war child
But that moment is until we focus on the war child
I am a war Child
A war child
A war child
