Working with non-Dutch persons can be a challenge. Aside from language barriers, often cultural differences exist between you and your conversation partners. A qualified and experienced interpreter manages to overcome both, not only by interpreting words, but culture as well. TVcN has professional interpreters and translators who have ample experience in different areas. They operate at academic level and most of them are listed in the national register of interpreters and translators, which guarantees their competence. In addition, we have specially certified interpreters and translators, whose knowledge of languages and interpreting abilities have been tested.

Such a specialized interpreter or translator knows all the ins and outs of the terminology, procedures and techniques of a certain field. This guarantees a reliable translation and prevents miscommunication.

A TVcN interpreter does not take part in a conversation, but is an objective third party. A neutral attitude is essential. Every interpreter and translator working for our organization, observes a code of conduct (pdf), which guarantees objectivity, professionalism, integrity and secrecy.
